IWD 2024 – Show Me The Money
This month we celebrated International Women’s Day in Brisbane at our fourth annual panel lunch event on Thursday 7 March 2024.
Our panellists were incredible and each shared some nuggets of wisdom that we know offered light bulb moments, and inspired our guests to make a change in their lives and their money stories.
We are so grateful to our panellists for their honesty, raw shares and for being their authentic selves, sharing their journey with money and working towards their version of financial success. Thank you to our panel presenting partner Heart Surgery Gold Coast for their support of women in our community.
Together we raised $25,915 for Women’s Legal Service Queensland to help vulnerable women and children escape domestic violence and financial abuse situations. Thank you to all of our guests for digging deep and giving generously. This also wouldn’t have been possible without Sunscene Snowscene Holidays for giving away the incredible holiday to Club Med Maldives.
The money raised will go towards funding an additional specialist domestic violence Financial Counsellor, to support 150 more women in need across the state each year.
The energy in the room was magnetic, the conversations lit a fire, and the new connections made were meaningful. We are still on a high from such an amazing celebration.
