Accounts & Renewals Administrator
About the Job or Project
This crucial back-of-house role ensures that all financial aspects of the business are carried out in a timely fashion and all reporting deadlines, including BAS, are met.
Working with senior managers, including Co-Founders/Directors, the Accounts role is responsible for accounts receivable, keeping overdue accounts to a minimum, BAS reporting, fortnightly payroll, and coordinating website renewal services.
The person in this role proactively seeks new ways to streamline the financial operations of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll (team of 9)
- Client services & renewals (e.g. website hosting, SSL, domains, 365) – full training provided
- Administrative support
IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial and tax requirements/obligations
- Proven knowledge and experience using Xero, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Xero certification/s (advantageous but not essential)
- Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations
- Ability to adapt and implement new technologies and processes to streamline operations
