About the Job or Project

We are looking for new content writers to join our growing freelance team, working with our creative and energetic Founder and Principal Consultant and other project leads as required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and write diverse content writing projects including online (blogs, social media) and offline media, from end to end.
• Manage and organise own work, and bring a creative curiosity to all projects no matter how big or how small.

Virtual and flexible:

Our new freelance content writers can be based anywhere in Australia (of course, Sydney based would be good for inclusion) and come with own workspace, equipment, software and licences.

We understand you may have your own freelance business, or work with others, so freelance projects will be based on a set rate or on a project basis depending on the type of project, with any meetings required to be attended billed per rate, or included in project scope.

Ideal Applicant or Experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years diverse writing experience in multiple contexts, including online and for at least two social media channels.
• Strong typography and written and oral communication skills for analysing information, writing for audience, and for internal communication, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word and effective communication over email.

Desirable but not essential:

• Graphic design experience
• Digital marketing experience
• Event communications experience
