ASOS is seeking a Market Research & Insights Analyst to join their team in Australia.
ABOUT YOU
You are a Communications professional with at least 1-2 years’ experience, ideally within the payments, ecommerce or like industries.
You have:
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to tailor your content to suit your audience
- The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes
- A detailed oriented approach with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
- A good understanding of information technology, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- The ability to work independently, whilst being able to collaborate with colleagues
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager – Australia and working closely with the business analyst, you will be identifying latest industry trends for the organisation in order to support global payment related initiates.
Your role will include:
- Following current ecommerce and payment related trends to inform your writing
- Critical thinking to provide actionable product or service insights for the organisation
- Translating research, analysis and insights into corporate reports that have actionable strategies to solve business problems and influence business direction
- Actively researching and understanding broader financial markets, consumer trends and other insights that may impact business activities and support new business opportunities
- Researching market and competitor data to support development of new products and services
- Proactively identifying and highlighting trends that can be used to optimise consumer experience, value, and marketing effectiveness
- Considering opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make
- Identifying the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations
- Communicating the benefits of your recommendations across and help to address any uncertainty and concern
- Producing written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
- Providing content that is accurate, congruent and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems
- Supporting staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
- Communicating with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
