Content Creator & Social Media specialist
About the Job or Project
We are on the hunt for a junior-mid Content Creator and Social Media star who has a passion for connecting with people and sharing stories through copy and visual content?
You will be an expert in social media and responsible for developing and managing content delivery through a number of channels, both B2B and B2C.
Are you passionate about working with communication channels including social media, email, blogs?
You will be curating content specific to the clients we work with.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a content plan in alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Copywriting: you will be responsible for writing all copy for content. There will often be a framework and brand guidelines to adhere to also.
- Images: it is ideal that you will be confident and competent taking images.
- Graphics: it is ideal that you have graphic capabilities in the Adobe suite, however prowess in Canva is also applicable.
- Content Management: posting and monitoring content across multiple social channels.
- Reporting: analyse social metrics and analytics to assess campaign performance and to provide strategy recommendations for future.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to manage multiple social media channels simultaneously, as well a B2B and B2C communication channels.
- Proven ability to to create quality and unique curated content for each client.
- Confidence and competence in writing and producing visual content.
- Ideal if you are able to create video content.
- Solid understanding of measurement across social platforms, particularly the ability to interpret social data and effectively optimise content.
About you
- You’ve been in the game for at least 3 years.
- You are proficient in written and verbal English).
- You have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- You are organised and have exceptional time management skills.
- You love social media and the digital world.
- You will love using your initiative and have a high attention to detail at all times.
- You work equally as well with others as you do autonomously.
- You are capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- You embrace lateral thinking, are cool, calm and collected in a high stress situation and you have great problem-solving skills.
- You will have advanced MS Office skills including Word and Excel.
- Experience with the full G-suite platform
This is a freelance position with ongoing work. The position is performed remotely. There will be the need from time to time to come into our office or meetings, so it is preferable you are Brisbane based, though we are looking for the right person, so if you’re interstate, we would still welcome your application.
