Copywriter

About the Job or Project

You will be responsible for developing content in the form of blog posts, articles, email copy, website copy and other marketing collateral for our broad range of clients, as well as for Empire Virtual Support itself.

You will be an integral part of our overall marketing team supporting clients both directly and indirectly as part of smaller collaborative teams.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be capable of researching and preparing copy for a wide range of industries in different formats, be able to attend the occasional client Zoom call (most work is briefed via our Task Manager, ClickUp), and be dedicated to meeting realistic deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in researching and crafting thoughtful and engaging content to targeted audiences to help increase conversions
• Adaptability in working to a range of briefs, tones and styles
• Collaborate with other members of our team to ensure that all content is on target and optimized for specific audiences

Ideal Applicant or Experience

You’re right for this job if…

• Experienced with creating engaging content that converts. Basic SEO writing will be highly regarded, but not a requirement.
• Reliable and able to meet all deliverable deadlines.
• Work well both autonomously and within a team/collaborative environment
• Communicative and responsive as this is how we provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Australia or New Zealand.
• Possess an ABN and be responsible for payment of their own super/tax requirements.
