Events and Administration Assistant

UP Agency is a specialist events company that creates unique events that leave lasting impressions and memories.
We manage end to end events across key retail locations in Queensland, from event conception through to styling, entertainment, workshops, activations and more! The business is under new management, and needs a flexible and hands on Events and Administration Assistant that can roll their sleeves up and help us execute the best events yet coming into Christmas.
Some role highlights include:
- Event Coordination – including quotes, event proposals and event management
- Social Media Management – scheduling posts and managing content across platforms
- General Administration – managing business supplier lists and networks, social media management, email marketing and general business organisation via DropBox and G-Suite
Initial contract is for 4 months, for 2-3 days a week for the right candidate. Candidates can work remotely for most of time but must be flexible to attend events as needed and meet in person for some work hours. The Director currently works between Toowoomba and Brisbane, so meetings ideally take place in one of these two locations.
