Finance Contractor
About the Job or Project
We are looking for a skilled Finance Contractor who can take charge of the AR/AP function as well as offer support to the Finance Manager with assisting with EOM reporting for a 6-12 month time period, the contractor role will be covering maternity leave.
This is a part time position 1-2 days per week based in Sandgate.
Key Duties:
- Entering invoices into the system (XERO)/ perform accounts payable duties.
- Assist with some month end duties including reconciliations
- Manage aged debtors and receipting
- Record in-kind donations
- Assisting with fortnightly payroll
- Ad Hoc duties as directed by the Finance Manager
- Managing the accounts inbox and emails
- Freshdesk – responding to queries from donors
Skills:
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Confidence to work autonomously
- Respect for confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience or experience in a similar role with a focus on AP/AR functions.
- Experience with XERO is essential
- Intermediate excel skills
- Strong communication skills
