Job Title: Marketing Coordinator – 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Hours: 3 days per week
Location: Sydney CBD
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, our Marketing Coordinator will be a vital member of our small committed team and will focus on executing and implementing the Foundations marketing and communications strategy for 2021.

Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator role is a 12 month Maternity contract role, commencing in February.
Your role will be to:
- Actively manage and execute the foundation’s Marketing and Fundraising Plan for 2021.
- Prepare all marketing collateral for fundraising and marketing campaigns.
- Execute the Foundation’s fundraising and marketing communications strategy via all forms of digital marketing: website updates, social media, EDM’s etc.
- Manage our social media across all platforms, including copy, images, enquires and links.
- Manage our website – images, copy and updates.
- Help create and develop fundraising copy for appeal letters, edm’s, website and FSHD publications.
- Support the foundation’s Ambassadors and State representatives to drive engagement and create new opportunities.
- Support the team with any internal events by way of logistics, sponsorship, budgets, reporting and production coordination.
- Support the organisation’s marketing needs on a range of events and initiatives outside the 2021 calendar.
- Report on all campaign performance via both Salesforce and Social Media.
- Help and support the administrative tasks of managing the FSHD Medical Education Portal.
Skills and Experience
- At least five years’ experience in marketing or communications preferably within a ‘for purpose’ organisation
- Qualifications in either marketing, communications, graphic design or other relevant qualifications.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team, being both strategic and hands-on.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about FSHD and engage with our sponsors, supporters and community.
- Excellent time management and organisational capabilities, with strong attention to detail
- Highly computer literature with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in WordPress, Salesforce (Non For Profit – high advantage), Canva and Mailchimp.
- Experience in Facebook Business and all social media platforms.
- Basic – Intermediate graphic design Adobe Creative Suite.
- A healthy sense of humour,
