About the role
This newly created role will be responsible for developing a communications plan for the promotion and distribution of corporate and marketing content. This includes press releases to targeted media, marketing collateral, social media content, video, photography and managing corporate digital assets including the company website. The position reports directly to the General Manager and will be working with people in multiple time zones.
Duties
- Develop corporate communications & promotions
- Produce content on products, services & staff for a variety of internal & external platforms & media
- Create & optimise web communication to maintain a strong digital presence
- Develop & execute social media strategy
- Manage corporate branding
- Manage & maintain marketing campaigns
Skills & experience
- Formal qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media or similar
- Experience in working with a complex & technical product offering & delivering brand message to both technical & non-technical audiences
- Experience in media liaison & PR & social media channel management
- Experience in driving brand awareness & congruence across web, social press releases, advertising, internal communications
- Excellent writing, editing & proofing skills for media, marketing & other communication materials
- A keen eye for detail & an ability to manage concurrent projects
- A high level of planning, organisational & time management skills
- Confident decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with internal & external stakeholders
