WAVES is a creative studio in the heart of Bondi Beach built by creatives, for creatives.

We host a range of clients, from local influencers to some of the biggest podcasters in the world. We’re searching for a gun producer to be on-hand for our clients who often book and batch-record episodes on a weekly basis.

Our space is full of the best gear, but our producers should have a kit of their own; see notes below.

Responsibilities

• Shooting a vodcast and recording a podcast with 1-4 guests
• Editing the full podcast and Vodcast + inserting sponsor graphics and ad reads in. Providing these files to our guests within 48 hours of the recording, with 1 round of revision allowed.
• Taking pictures during the podcast for sponsored segments and candid social shots
• Cutting up 3-4 high-quality social media reels

Please provide information on your kit and gear. Our space has 2 x Lumix cameras, 4 x Shure Mics, Rodecaster, ATEM mini and a display screen. However, this role requires producing episodes with 1-4 guests in the space (meaning our producer needs 2 x additional 4K cameras and tripods).

Ideal Applicant or Experience

Qualifications

• Qualifications in video or audio engineering, video/audio production or equivalent
• 2+ years editing podcasts for brands, agencies or clients
• 2+ years setting up a podcast space – organising gear, lighting, and live-switching on an ATEM. Confidence is key as our clients are high-profile!
