Due to growth, we are looking for our next superstar team member to join us!

The Role

You will be an experienced tax accountant or business advisory client manager with an eye for detail, proactive attitude and natural curiosity. You will have no problem with the hands-on aspect of the role at times but also have the ability to level up and assist our clients in the tax advisory space. Working directly with the Owner but also being the point of contact for our more junior staff you will enjoy the customer service part of the role as you will be interacting with all levels of clients (whom we absolutely love) and team members.  This role will start out part time at approximately 4 days per week with the opportunity to go full time in the future if you want.

So what does the role look like?

• Handling compliance work including but not limited to preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, Trusts and companies.
• Knowledge and experience ideally dealing with complex structures, Div7A, CGT, FBT, GST etc
• Preparing cash flow forecasts, researching tax matters where required and assisting in tax planning for clients.
• Liaising with and building relationships with clients with Partner assistance , the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
• Preparing statements of  advice to a large and varied client base.

Is this role for you? It could be if the below sounds like you:

-Minimum 5 +  years experience in a similar role

-Fluent in English, both written and verbal

-Awesome organisational skills (you have to love a process)

-Ability to work in a remote/work from home capacity

-Proven tax experience

-Ability to client manage

-Xero experience – the majority of our clients are on Xero

-Ability to multitask and coordinate/manage junior team members where necessary
