Social Media & Community Manager

Kazoo Pet Co is looking for a pet-obsessed social media community manager to join the pack. The aim of the role is to drive awareness and engagement across all our social channels – Facebook, instagram & tiktok (yes, that does mean making cute animal video’s), be able to act as the voice of Kazoo and manage all community communications – whilst putting our best paw forward.
We’re thinking the role will be at least two days a week in-house (in Silverwater, Sydney) then a couple of hours a day to keep on top of comms, but happy figure this out together.
Requirements:

Collaboration and input into our content strategy and plan

Be able to write witty and engaging copy to respond back to the community
- Creativity – have an eye for detail and the skills to work across Adobe Suite to support the design department

Set, implement and test campaigns to align with marketing strategies

Listening and responding to online/offline comments and customer queries in a timely manner (this will involve a fair bit of product training up-front – we have over 1000 products!)

Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

Organise and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness

Coordinate with Marketing, PR and creative teams to ensure brand, content and tone of voice consistency

Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features

Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists

Review pet channels for potential proactive content opportunities / trending topics to create content off the back of
