Social Media Manager
The purpose of this role
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and help us mobilise a global community of leaders to be the change they want to see in the world. As Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts, growth reach and impact, as well as establishing and fuelling our online community.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing Holly Ransomβs interactions with the public by implementing social media content strategies across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and potentially Twitter. These will support the business objectives and amplify Hollyβs messages. The Managerβs duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, scheduling βalways onβ content, planning digital campaigns, and building community engagement online.

- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Define most important social media KPIs
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Developing fit-for-platform and fit-for-purpose strategies for each social media platform and executing said strategy
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Collaborate with the rest of the Emergent team and our network of incredibly talented contractors
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Provide online community management on relevant platforms
- Provide constructive feedback
- Adhere to rules and regulations
Must-have skills and qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Basic photo shop and video-editing skills
- Copywriting skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivation and capability to take initiative
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Originally weβre looking for someone who can be doing 10 hours a week with the possibility of that increasing to 20 hours a week post a 3 month trial. As weβre growing rapidly, the prospect of the role expanding over the longer term is also on the table.
