I am the founder of boutique branding and marketing agency, Hustle + Hush. We specialise in helping independent Australian artisans and hospitality and tourism operators, find their place in the crowd.
With our unique mix of industry experience and marketing expertise we’ll give you a voice above all the noise, connect you with the customers you want and help make your business the best it can be.
How did this journey begin?
Food, wine and travel are a few of my passions - it’s always been that way.
From a young age, my love affair with the industry was sparked, which saw me enrol in a Tourism Management + Marketing Degree at RMIT which included a placement at Ayers Rock Resort. I was nineteen and my nine-month placement lasted two years. I spent my twenty-first birthday in a helicopter over Uluru, followed by a fine-dining experience – and I knew I was sold.
I worked in the US and UK delivering marketing and events for 5 start hotels before settling in to work back home at the City of Yarra, where I boosted failing tourism, and established the Inner Melbourne Tourism Group.
When wanderlust called, I took leave to travel Australia before acquiring a restaurant in the beautiful South Australian town of Robe, called No.4. We enjoyed the rollercoaster of owner-operating, produced exquisite, locally-produced food, and brought friends and families together in our special seaside nook. But Robe life wasn’t to be, and ultimately, it led me to Hustle + Hush.
It was an organic progression from operating to consultancy. Today it's a joy sharing my 20+ years of hospitality and marketing experience, coaching clients on the intricacies and unknowns of building a food and wine brand. Together we share the highs and prevent the lows.
Based in Melbourne, you’ll most likely find me in a yoga class, walking our Chow Chow 'Chester', or enjoying good food and wine.
