Anjali

Anjali Raj is a 29 year old professional session and live singer/vocalist, voiceover artist & part time receptionist at Nova 106.9, originally from Brisbane, Australia. She is also a Journalism/Public Relations graduate from QUT. She has over 16 years professional experience as a singer and performer in both Australia and overseas. Whether it’s chilled acoustic sets, or pumping dance floor fillers with a live band or DJ, Anjali commands the stage with her charm and sassiness, whilst effortlessly delivering her smooth, dance, pop, or rnb vocals. Anjali performs with several professional live bands, DJs, acoustic guitarists, or as a solo artist for corporate functions, launches, promotions, weddings, as well as at bars and clubs throughout Australia and internationally.
She is also a session vocalist collaborating with local artists, producers, writers, and DJs, and is no stranger to a recording studio, featuring on soundtracks for numerous artists. A few years ago she released her own debut single and video clip called “Fight For Me”.

Anjali has extensive live performance experience, with clients including Suncorp, Brisbane Broncos, Brisbane Convention & Entertainment Centre, Star Casino, Tennis Australia, Qld Government, Stefan’s, Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols, Queen St Mall, Channel 7, Nova 106.9, and Brisbane International Airport, just to name a few. Some notable achievements include singing in Papua New Guinea for their Prime Minister, pre-game entertainment at Suncorp Stadium for Broncos games, Hamilton Island Race Week, top 12 in the group category on X-Factor 2011, and singing the National Anthem at Brisbane and Gold Coast Race events, as well as the televised Brisbane International Men’s & Women’s Tennis Finals on Pat Rafter Arena in 2016 & 2017.

Tertiary qualifications and experience in journalism and media, led Anjali to secure work at Nova 106.9 as a part time receptionist, as well as a voiceover/jingle artist for numerous clients, advertisements, and show segments. Some clients include McDonalds, Metricon Homes, EMI Music, Brisbane Bullets, Motorama, RACQ, and Brisbane Racing Club. She has on-air singing experience, recording numerous show segment openers and parodies for Brisbane’s # 1 Breakfast Show: ‘Ash,
Kip & Luttsy’, as well as the # 1 Drive Show: ‘Kate Tim & Marty’. As a versatile vocalist, and journalism graduate, with work experience in both radio and television, Anjali has the confidence
and ability to adapt her voice to meet the client's needs. She can deliver a deeper news-style tone,
or more popular tones, including smooth, husky, sultry, easy listening, energetic, cheeky, or cheerful.
