Hi, my name is Jasmin Forsyth ... many call me Jaz!

With close to 20 years of diverse industry experience, I have successfully acquired a very unique, diverse and highly resourceful skillset, as a seasoned multi-media, PR & communications specialist, across various fields and business types:

- Local/national TV journalist, presenter/host, series producer/producer;
- TV/video media production specialist in writing, presenting, producing & editing; and
- Local/national PR, media & communications, social media manager/consultant.

Furthermore, I am also a trained Final Cut Pro video editor, with skills in photography and videography … yes, our industry keeps evolving, and I’m proud to say, I’ve equally revelled in its evolution.

I take pride in my work, understand successful workflow and ethical business operations, and am passionate about working hard to exceed expectations.

I believe in constant professional development, upskilling, feedback, and positive leadership. I pack passion and performance into every task, and revel in effective communications and ultimate outcomes for all involved.

After leaving TV as a full-time, on-air journalist/producer in 2009, my husband and I launched our business Media Force Productions (MFP).

Since then, I/we have worked with a broad range of clients, from TV to corporate, small business, NFPs and individuals alike, across a diverse cross section of industries, actively exercising my media industry strengths, contacts, and community connections, while offering the full delivery of TV, PR, communications, media/production (including photos, video & editing) Media Training and MC’ing.

As a journalist, my personality most certainly loves to read, understand, and ultimately know a lot about a lot – not only do I want to be able to speak and write freely about a topic, but feel I’m connected with the topic at large; a desire which has certainly assisted me when reporting on live TV, or when professionally speaking/representing others!

As a result, I have often tried to align myself with organisations I believe in, or that share the same values. To me, that’s important in promoting a story, creating genuine engagement and breathing the spirit of those whom you represent.

As a Mum of two kids, two fur babies, and a wife, I really understand life as a busy modern family. However, as a business woman, I'm also driven by my work, ethical standards, effective communications, mutual respect and overall success.

When it comes to the media space, I've often said, I'm like a hat wrack - throw me a hat and I'll not only wear it, I'll strut it! I love what I do, and I'd love to help you!
