I'm a writer who nerds out over things like diphthongs. I love how my marketing and creative writing skills join hands to write words that persuade the audience.

I grew up as the daughter of an English teacher, easily the most intelligent person I'll ever meet. While it didn't earn me a whole lot of friends, I spent my primary school years with my nose in a book and a pencil in my hand. I loved writing poems and stories, always creating rich imagery with the language I chose.

Words have incredible power. While I don't know how to repair a wounded knee or replace an alternator, I have, from time to time, been humbly able to patch up a broken heart or downtrodden spirit. For this, I am truly grateful.

I'm witty, down-to-earth, usually up for a chat (and a dessert) and incredibly passionate about what I do. I work hard for myself and my little family. I have daughters and want to set the right example for them. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home and still be present as their (albeit tired) mama.
