Centre for Integrative Health is a well-established multidisciplinary clinic with a reputation as a leading treatment provider for eating- and weight-concerns. They have a deep sense of purpose for the impact of our work and look forward to welcoming a part-time experienced accounts and compliance officer to the team to support maximising the impact of their work.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company’s accounts and clinical records remain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date at all times. You will work closely alongside the administration team and their external accounts manager and report directly to the Director. Condensed work weeks and flexible working hours are available down the track for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing invoices and processing Medicare rebates
- Managing outstanding payments and aging debts
- Processing accounts receivable
- Managing expenses and budgets
- Processing payroll
- Working alongside the accountant to prepare BAS, PAYG, and other ATO requirements
- Preparing financial reports
- Conducting file audits and ensuring file compliance and accuracy
About you
- You thrive in a busy environment and love juggling multiple competing demands. You have a knack for prioritising your time and focus.
- You have experience in a similar health/medical practice that has provided you with a firm grounding in practice operations, such as Medicare and ATO compliance.
- Your attention to detail ensures company accounts and client files remain accurate and up-to-date at all times.
- While you enjoy working autonomously and are self-motivated, you are a team player who is motivated to contribute to our positive team culture.
- You possess 3 years minimum bookkeeping experience, have a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting and are proficient in the use of Xero and Microsoft Excel.
