Graphic Designer

About the Job or Project

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with strong experience across PPT presentations, sales decks, digital and social to join our global marketing team on a 3 – 6 month contract.

You have a superb design sense and love working with others to bring the vision to life, sometimes right from concept. You’re not precious about what you work on (yep – we mentioned PPT already didn’t we!) and are happy to work collaboratively in a team with a great culture.

A resourceful ‘owner’ mentality, not afraid to go beyond your comfort zone and empowering others to do the same.

Responsibilities
• Own, prioritise and execute design tasks within timeframes on the internal pipeline of design requirements that may come from a variety of stakeholders across the group
• Creative execution across digital channels including sales packs (most often in PPT), PPT presentations, event and tradeshow collateral, campaign collateral, eDMs, card artwork, newsletters, web – and potentially videos if that’s something that interests you)
• Collaborate and work directly with stakeholders to ensure your design is on brief and communicates clearly to the intended audience
• Ensure the design of all material is completed within agreed timeframes and delivered to the best possible standard
• Work with our agency partners to ensure all work is on brand and adheres to third party guidelines (such as Mastercard, Apple)
• Liaise with printers and other external suppliers as required
• Monitor and advise on appropriate usage of EML Payments logos and identity assets across a range of internal and external uses, ensuring application adheres to EML Brand Guidelines

Ideal Applicant or Experience

What you’ll bring
– Proven 5+ years graphic design experience ideally in advertising and sales materials
– An extensible portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills across a variety of mediums
– A pro with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma) plus excellent PPT skills
– Strong layout and DTP skills
– Understanding of the application of design elements in online environments (Web, App, UX, Digital asset creation
– Ability to work within brand guidelines, a keen eye for aesthetics and high attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills
– Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders including agencies and other third party suppliers
– Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
– Ability to prioritise work and confidently liaise with internal stakeholders
– Qualifications in Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design or related field
