Webb Martin Consulting is a Melbourne-based tax consulting firm. Led by our directors, we provide tax advice to a range of clients. You will work with our small team of consultants to promote the business, publish newsletters and keep our web content up-to-date. You’ll also assist the team with supporting our affiliate company, TaxEd.
TaxEd is a member support service for a range of Government bodies and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. Key benefits of membership are a Q&A service, a monthly newsletter and periodic tax alerts. With the rest of the WMC staff, you’ll support our member base and promote new business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing & Client Services Coordinator is responsible for promoting Webb Martin Consulting and our affiliate business, TaxEd, through multiple channels – email campaigns, socials, newsletters and events.
You will be the first point of contact for our TaxEd members, and you’ll also be responsible for expanding our reach and member base.
We will provide comprehensive training on our services and offerings so you can succeed in the role. You will work from our Melbourne CBD office with flexible options, including work from home days, once you are fully on- boarded.
This will start as a 3-4 day/week role (negotiable) on a 6 month contract with the opportunity to become a permanent staff member once initial term is completed.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage our team inbox (client queries/support)
- Content management across 2 websites (WordPress)
- Social media management (2 LinkedIn accounts)
- Event management – coordinating venues & organising materials for training sessions
- Collation and distribution of our regular newsletters to members and clients
- Client feedback surveys
- Processing and following up on membership renewals
- Preparation of regular reporting to management to identify sales numbers and campaign effectiveness
- Managing our database of subscribers (MailChimp)
- Various administrative tasks as required
- Maintaining the TaxEd membership database and records
- Improving the TaxEd member experience, on-boarding and renewal processes, and managing member engagement campaigns
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desired: A degree in the communications/marketing field
- 1+ years of marketing/communications experience – preferably corporate
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work
- Experience using email platforms such as MailChimp
- Engaging copywriting skills
- Strong proofreading skills
- A keen eye for design (Canva)
- Ability to use Google Analytics for reporting and planning purposes
- Experience managing web content through WordPress or similar platform

- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Negotiating skills and the ability to influence stakeholders of the organisation
- Ability to build rapport with our members and prospective members
- Creative with process improvement and problem solving
- Ability to forward plan content and campaigns up to 12 months ahead for multiple products and businesses
