I started investigating the idea of freelancing from my dining room table when I couldn’t find a job which suited my passion for communications and didn’t mean I had to lose out on my favourite role yet – a Mum.
So I decided to combine the two together. Why not do what I love (writing) from the place I love most (at home with my family)?
I have almost 15 years’ experience in the communications world. I’ve helped government officials, national not-for-profits, startups and corporate organisations take their communications to the next level. I’ve worked across public relations, internal communications, brand development, reputation management and external communications.
I love a good story. And what I love even more is telling that story. I’ve seen firsthand, countless times, how important communications can be – whether you’re talking to your employees, your customers, or your family. How you use your words can make or break a deal, a friendship, an outcome.
